More than simply a collection of buildings, a church comprises people--past, present and future. Those of the past were the faithful who worshiped together, lived and served together over the centuries. So it is with St. George's, Newburgh.
As we, the church's present members, tend our spacious cemetery and create a new columbarium, we do so out of respect for those who inhabited these sacred spaces before us. As we care for our church building, we honor the present generation while we help prepare the future one for worship in this sacred space.
